If you’ve decided to follow Jesus, congratulations! Once you’ve filled out our digital life card above, there are some steps to take as you begin this journey of following Jesus, and we would love to walk alongside you as you take those steps. Check out the steps below, and always feel free to reach out to us, should you have questions or need help with any of these steps.
NEXT STEP: Attend Life Class & Get Baptized
Life Class is a one hour session after church on a Sunday where we have some snacks and talk about what Jesus did for us on the cross, what it means to follow Him, and what baptism means. For more details, and to RSVP to the next Life Class, click here.
NEXT STEP: Join us on Sunday’s at Life Church
It’s important to join together with other believers in worship and the teaching of God’s Word. It’s where we stay connected to each other and to Jesus. It’s where we find encouragement in our walk with Christ. Make it a priority in your schedule to be together with the Body of Christ weekly
NEXT STEP: Join a Life Group
Life Groups are small groups of 10-15 people that join together weekly to discuss God’s Word, encourage one another, and do life together. It is meant to build strong, Christ-centred communities, that live out their faith. Join a life group today here.
NEXT STEP: Read God’s Word
We believe God has revealed Himself through His Word, and so if we want to get to know Him, we must get to know His Word. To help with that, we encourage you to download the YouVersion Bible App and start this 7-day devotional for new believers. We would also love to give you a physical Bible as well. If you don’t have one, let us know here.
NEXT STEP: PRAY
Jesus invites us into a relationship with Him. He wants us to talk to Him, to bring Him our burdens, and the burdens of others. He wants us to talk to Him daily and He wants to talk to us as well. Begin your day by spending some time thanking God for who He is and what He has done in your life. Then tell Him about your troubles. Ask for His help. And always spend time listening for Him to speak to you. Even if you don’t hear anything, it’s important to practice sitting before the Lord in silence, just enjoying His presence and patiently waiting for Him to speak.

Accepting Jesus
Accepting Jesus into your heart starts with a simple prayer. Questions may remain, but if your heart is genuine, you can trust in God that He will begin a good work in you that will not disappoint.
If you're not quite ready for this step we invite you to come along to our church services to learn more. It's a place to find answers to burning questions, while connecting with others. In the meantime, we encourage you to pray to God with a sincere and open heart, that He may reveal Himself to you.
“God, I come to you acknowledging your ways are better than my ways. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I believe that you raised Him from the dead. I am sorry for the wrongs of my past and from this day forward I’m committed to following you. I thank you, Father, for loving and saving me.”
